I'm a small town girl, graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, with a big passion. I've always been intrigued how much design and color can affect a space.
As a NRI Certified Redesigner and Stager I am able to work with frustrated homeowners by providing them with affordable rearrangements using their existing furnishings to create beautiful and functional living spaces.
The love of color, texture, and design enable me to create liveable rooms with the "wow factor" that leaves a memorable impression. Creativity is nothing that I have ever been afraid of, I excel at finding ways to make something look new.
I am doing what I love, which is a luxury that few people seem to enjoy these days. I feel honored that people invite me into their homes and allow me to share my enthusiasm for design with them. When homeowners first see their "new" space after a project is complete, that single moment is what makes it magical.
I am involved with many nonprofits and networking groups in the Des_Moines metro area, I believe in giving back and helping the community grow. The community is our big home and we are responsible for what happens in it. I love the quote by Maya Angelo, "I've learned that you shouldn t go through life with a catcher s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back." |
